Poetzelberger, at the Akademie der bildenden Kunste, Munich, and the Academie Julian in Paris under Bouguereau and B Contstant. Influenced by symbolists, founder of the group Die Scholle, member of the Secessions in Berlin, Vienna, and Munich. Best known for painted landscapes and nudes.
